Bach - "Coffee Cantata" - Lieschen
November 18, 11am and 2pm:
​The Vermont Contemporary Chamber Collective is a brand new organization which aims to bring new life to the standard chamber repertoire and to build and strengthen community through innovative collaboration.

The first of these innovative collaborations is two performances of Bach’s Coffee Cantata presented in partnership with Kestrel Coffee Roasters in the Karma Birdhouse. Kestrel will be providing coffee and pastries that Bach would've enjoyed in 1730s Leipzig and will also be giving a short presentation on the coffee culture of 18th-century Europe. Vocalists Lillian Broderick, Erik Kroncke, and Kevin Ginter bring Bach's bite-sized comedy to life in a presentation suitable for all ages!
